Post by: Silky on November 28, 2012, 08:52:53 AM
I would like to plan a few things for December to make the most of my time off. Is anyone available for 40K, Pathfinder, Game of Thrones, Board Games, The Hobbit movie, Curry Night, Alcohol?

Let me know!

Who is up for The Hobbit, Odeon Cardiff Bay, 7pm on Monday 17th December? This is the first decent time that has spaces for a bunch of us to go together.

Let me know ASAP and I will book the tickets.

Hobbit - I'm going to take a rain check - as so early on in the release the theatre will be packed and there will be loads of people looking at their f*****g I-phones during the film, which annoys me to the max  >:(

Lol, actually there may well be a lot of truth to that.
There's always been a lot of rivalry between NZ and Oz and Peter Jackson is pretty vocal in that area.

So is it just Annie, Will and I for the Hobbit?

Any suggestions for a Curry Night? The place we went to on City Road was nice.

Curry-wise, maybe next weekend Fri, Sat or Sun may be OK.

I think we'll be playing RM on one of those days but not sure which one yet, Sun I guess, but will post latterly to confirm.

I've arranged a babysitter for next Friday.

I'd have preferred Saturday as I've already got a curry with work on Thursday, but if you've already booked a sitter, then Friday will be fine.

Fri/Sat don't mind.

But waiting to hear from Squish + Mark re RM on Sun. So hopefully I'll get an answer from them soon.

However Will, as you are having curry on Thu would you prefer chinese (or something else) instead?

Maybe also we could do a boardgames afternoon followed by the meal?

Well, not too sure on that. All I can say there's is a chinese Whitchurch Rd that's 12 a head no limits and it isn't a buffet. Found food OK.

Can I can confirm then that NO one other than Will want to go and see the Hobbit and it's ONLY Rich and Will interested in Chinese/ Indian meal?

Pretty poor show. Where's everyone's Christmas spirit?

My Christmas spirit is alive and well and living in Belgium.

I'm fairly busy all the way up to the 25th, and I won't be able to afford anything much otherwise up until about the 20th :)

Any Christmas Pathfinder for the masses will be a one off, probably "we be goblins" scenario.

So shall we settle on that?
Say 7pm Saturday?

OK. Let's meet at yours at 7pm on Sat.

No booking needed, so we can decided on where to go on the night. I'm easy.

I may pop over earlier with SOJ. He said he'll be interested in coming too and he has to Lvl his RM PC. So may pop to yours sometime after 5 if that's OK?

Hope you all have a great Christmas. The Hobbit was brilliant, I happened to have some saved up points & when V finally got it through to me that he wouldn't be allowed anyway I went.
Super fast rabbits & an undercover Dr Who. It was some time before I penetrated Radagasts disguise. See you all soon if the boat doesn't sink.
