Google Chrome browser.
« on: September 02, 2008, 08:37:09 PM »
For those who love playing about with various types of browsers, Google have come out with a new browser, called Chrome.
You can download it below:
http://www.google.com/chrome

It's pretty neat actually, I only downloaded it about an hour ago, but it's superfast.
I haven't really explored it much yet though.-

It's worth a look if you can be bothered.

Heard about it today.
I'll let you play with it awhile before I go ahead and try it.  :)

Sure nps.
I wanted to test it anyway to make sure the various websites I created will work properly with it.
As it turns out they work just fine.  :)

Still it needs to be used for a while before I can say for sure I wanna replace FF with it.

It renders some pages a bit weird, not justifying buttons properly sometimes etc, but by and large, for a beta it's pretty darn good.

Had a play with it, it's still a bit too buggy for my tastes.

When things go well, it's REALLY fast, but what with rendering issues, some sites seem to take ages (not sure why) whereas Firefox loads them all generally fast all the time (unless the site itself is slow for some reason).

All in all, is a great idea and has some amazing features, but I'll come back in 6 months time and have another look once some issues are sorted out.

It has a lot of promise tho.

I am trying google chrome again.

It's so sooo fast, seems more stable as well.

Gonna see what sort of plugins it has but so far, I'm a lot more impressed this time around.

Hmmm, doesn't seem like Chrome supports any extensions (basically extra functionality at all).
Well, it's still super fast.
